伝わる、と言う事、

昨日は誕生日でしたが午前中から心のヨガの講座のセッションをやっていました。

最後に感じた事は…

感じているけれど、

分かち合いたいものがあるけれど

どうやって発信したらいいのかわからない

そういう課題があるのを感じました。

これは内面的に1つクリアしておかなければならないことがあるでしょう。何を目的に、発信するのか。

これはわたしが通ってきた道ですが、

最近思う事も含めて

私が絵を描くときのチャンネルについてお伝えしようと思う。

これをサンプルに自分の場合はどうなのか、

考えてみてください。

Cecilia の仕事は、

大きく分けるとこの4種類あります。

① 完全1人になりきる瞑想的制作

②誰かに見せることが前提となっている制作

③ある特定の個人に向けて行われる制作

④デザインが前提の制作

そしてそこから出てくるものも、

大きく分けて何パターンかあります。

中でも代表的なものは、…

A: 黒を基調とした抽象制作( 墨や鉛筆)

B: ビビットな色彩による抽象制作

C: 物語性の強いモチーフによる制作

D: 造形、立体を意識した制作

F: Sound , Voice を意識したVideo作品

それは料理を作るようなもの。

和食なのか、和洋折衷なのか、インド料理か、

韓国風なのか、ベトナム風か、

中華料理か、イタリア料理なのか、

ドイツ風なのか、フランス料理なのか

私の亡くなった父がよく言ってましたが、”料理は教養です” と。まさにそうだと思う。教養といろんな料理を食べることはバランスしています。同様に、芸術表現も、それに付随して多岐に渡るようになっていきます。

教養とは何か、一言で言うと

それは、コミュニケーション能力、

普遍性の共有、ではないでしょうか。

それは、

思いやりや想像力に支えられるもので、

決して情報、知識の量ではないでしょう。

言語とその国の文化、は、

芸術表現の中のモチーフ、

色使いなどと、連動しています。

それから、作品が発表される国々の気候風土、そして宗教、そして歴史などが絡んできます。それによって描かれるものが、変わってくるわけです。

◯ここで重要なこと

— 好みだけを追いかけない —

私は、作品を発表するある特定の地域と文化圏の人たちに、”好まれるように” と言う意識を働かせる事はありません。

決して好みを追いかけていないのです。しかし、”通じる” と言う事、相手の心、内面を理解することは重要だと思っています。

そんな私がいつも意識しているのは、

人間が共通に持っている時間や空間、

物事との関わり、物語性、

そして共通の認識や幸福感、

それから最も大切な普遍性、です。

それは、

どのようなモチーフ、テーマ、

画材であっても、

根底に流れるものは、同じです。

そして、私のアートと言う料理の中から、

味わいを見出し、おいしさを見つけるかどうか、それを受け止められるかどうかは、

そのアートを味わった人に委ねられています。

これを、味わってください、

と言う強制的な考えを持っていません。

作品には、目に見えないところにエネルギーが込められています。目に見えたモチーフや形、色彩だけにとらわれると、それは見えてこないでしょう。

ここで、思った事は、…

私が唯一観客を選ぶとしたら、

真実を求めようとしている人。

真実の自分を知りたいと望んでいる人。

自分の感覚を味わいたいと熱望している人宇宙の秘密を知りたいと熱望している人、

なのかもしれないと。。。

その上で、

私は様々な表現に挑戦しています。

それは先に挙げた、いろいろな料理を作るのと似ています。

料理の仕方が変わっても、素材や、その料理そのものの持っているあじわいやおいしさをその人の感覚で味わってもらうことが、

重要だと思っています。

まだ書いてないことがたくさんありますが、

◯私にとってのArt の目的とは？

それはアートを通じての、

魂の交流です。

魂の交流は、これまで誰もが、想像したこともないような、想像もできないような、爆発的な、人間の持っている無限の可能性を引き出す1つの原因となると思います。

あまり個人的な目的で、芸術することに、

最近は、特に興味がありません。

.

私の場合は、現在、発表の場として、日本をあまり意識していなくて、世界にあります。

しかし、日本の人々を意識した場合には、

また、日本の風土を意識して、制作していくことになると思います。

そうそう、それから私は

あまり箸休め的、ティータイムのような作品を作る事はあまりないです。でも時々ありますね。今カバーに使っている、作品、最近のコラージュ作品など。

最期に、皆さま、昨日はお祝いのコメントメッセージありがとうございます。お誕生日と言うのは自分のことをお祝いしてもらうと言うよりも、世界への祈りと皆様への御礼を申し上げる場だなぁとつくづく思いました。

Communicating, that is 

Yesterday was my birthday, but I was doing a session of the Yoga of the Heart course in the morning.

The last thing I felt was…

I’m feeling it, but

I have something to share with you.

I don’t know how to communicate.

I felt those challenges.

This is one thing you will have to clear up internally. What is the purpose of the transmission?

This is the path that i has taken.

Including some recent thoughts.

I would like to tell you about the channels I use to paint.

I’m going to use this as a sample to see how it works for me.

Think about it.

Cecilia’s job is to

There are four main types.

(1) A meditative production in which you are completely alone

(2) The production is designed to be shown to someone else.

(3) A production directed at a specific individual.

(4) Work for design

And what comes out of it, too.

There are several main patterns.

The most typical of these are…

A: Abstract work in black (ink or pencil)

B: Abstract work in vivid colours

C: work with narrative motifs

D: Formative, three-dimensional work

F: Video work with sound and voice

It’s like cooking.

Whether it’s Japanese food, a blend of Japanese and Western cuisine, Indian food or

Korean style or Vietnamese style?

Chinese food or Italian food?

German or French style?

As my late father used to say, “Cooking is an education”. I think that’s exactly right. There is a balance between education and eating different kinds of food. In the same way, artistic expression becomes more and more diverse along with it.

What is culture, in a nutshell?

It is the ability to communicate, to

A shared universality, isn’t it?

It’s 

It is anchored in compassion and imagination.

It will never be the amount of information and knowledge .

The language and the culture of the country, are

The  motif in artistic expression, the

The use of colour, for example, is linked to this.

Then there is the climate, the religion and the history of the country in which the work is presented. What is depicted changes according to these factors.

Here’s the most important thing

– Don’t just follow your taste.

I don’t try to be “liked” by the people of the particular region and culture in which I present my work.

We are not chasing after preferences. But it is important to be able to communicate, to understand the heart and soul of the other person.

I’ve always been conscious of the fact that

Our relationship with things, our narrative, our

And a common understanding, a sense of well-being, a

And most importantly, universality.

It is a

What motifs, themes and

Even with art materials.

At the heart of it all, it’s the same.

And from the dish I call art.

It’s about finding the flavour, finding the goodness, and being able to take it in.

It is left to those who have tasted the art.

Taste this.

We do not have a compulsory idea that

There is an energy in the work that is not visible to the eye. If you only look at the visible motifs, shapes and colours, you will not see it.

Here’s what I thought…

If I had to choose only one audience, it would be

A person who is trying to find the truth.

A person who wants to know the truth about themselves.

People who are eager to experience their senses, people who are eager to know the secrets of the universe, people who want to know what it’s all about.

I think it might be…

On top of that.

I try to express myself in different ways.

It is similar to the cooking of the various dishes mentioned above.

Even if the way of cooking is changed, it is important that the ingredients and the taste of the dish itself are tasted by the senses.

We think it’s important.

◯ What is Art purpose for me?

It is through art that

It is an exchange of souls.

I believe that the exchange of souls is one of the causes of the infinite potential of human beings, explosive and unimaginable in a way that no one has ever imagined before.

I’m not too keen on the idea of art for personal purposes.

These days, I’m not particularly interested.

.

In my case, I don’t think much of Japan as a place of presentation at the moment, it’s in the world.

However, if you have the Japanese people in mind

We will also be working with the Japanese climate in mind.

Oh yes, and I

I don’t make many teatime pieces. But sometimes I do. Like the one I’m using for the cover, or a recent collage.

Last but not least, thank you all for your messages of congratulations yesterday. It made me realise that birthdays are not so much about celebrating yourself as they are about wishing the world and thanking you.
